Try Speed Skating at the Canmore Recreation Centre
We have special try it nights JUST FOR KIDS on Sunday, September 26 at 5:30 pm and Wednesday, September 29 at 5:15 pm. **Special treat for every kid who tries speed skating**
We have a try it night just for Masters on Sunday, October 3 at 6:30pm.
Join us for any of our practice nights (see schedule below.)
Visit our TRY IT page to learn more about the program. Each person can attend two free session each season to try speed skating. Free skate rentals for try it nights and skates can be rented for the season.

Advanced from 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm*
Masters from 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm

Beginners from 5:15 pm to 6:20 pm*
Advanced from 6:20 pm to 7:30 pm*

Does your kid have to be good at skating first?
No skating experience is necessary. We welcome all levels and ages of skaters to come out and try speed skating. We have kids and a masters try it night. Email communication@banffcanmorespeedskating.ca to register. We need to know the person’s name, age (if child), shoe size and skating ability.
