Try-it

If you are interested in trying out Speed Skating, please REGISTER HERE!

For 2023, we have 2 special pizza party try-it nights for kids scheduled for Wednesday, September 20 and Sunday, September 24. Spaces are limited. Register for one pizza party session and visit us again for free before you register. These try it nights are part of Speed Skating Canada’s National Open Houses

Participants must be at least 6 years old and able to skate unassisted and have basic skating skills, including gliding and stopping on any type of skates (i.e. hockey, figure skates, etc.) Families and adults are welcome to come out too!

The free on-ice session includes coaching and speed skate rental. You are allowed to try-it twice in a season for free.

Please come 15 minutes early to sign waivers, and get your skates and protective equipment fitted.

Parents are required to stay at the arena during the sessions when their child is skating, in order to provide rink-side support and in case of emergency.
