Short Track Competition Dates:
SHORT TRACK is done in an arena and is raced mass start. Several skaters will race together on a 100m or 111m oval, dependent on skater’s level. Distances are determined by Canadian age classes.
October 22nd – Canmore Team Challenge – CTC
October 29th/October 30th – Medicine Hat
November 11-13th – Edmonton (Can West Qualifier)
November 26-27th – Peace Wapiti
December 3-4th – Lloydminster Fire on Ice
December 12, 2015 – CIRC, Canmore Ice Racing Challenge (all ages)
We are very excited to be hosting our annual Canmore Ice Racing Challenge. Please find below the CIRC Meet Information, CIRC Registration Form and the BCSSC Host Hotel Information.
The format of the meet is single distance. All skaters will skate the 200m and 400m, then have a choice based on their 400m time of a third distance.
Due to the expected numbers, the third distance will be a super final only, seeded based on the seed time for the distance the skater is racing.
